Alain, an international engineer, is tasked with the assessment of an airport in a Caucasus breakaway Republic in order to authorize the opening of the airport to international air traffic. Meanwhile, the young local boy Edgar engages in all sorts of trades in the Airport vicinity. After meeting the kid and the local population, Edgar will discover this enclaved land and take many risks in order to assist the country in opening itself to the world.
